When ministries we partner with take BIG steps of faith, we get so excited! Partly because watching God move in our friends is super fun, and partly because getting the chance to be in on God-things and partner with these friends in Christ is a COMPLETE honor. YOU can be a part of feeling that pride and honor too!
We are a short 6 weeks away from our first trip as a ministry! It is a very exciting time of finalizing details and preparing our team. We will be serving at 4 ministries when we go. Our two partners, Sangaalo Babies and Ebenezer Chidren’s Ministry will be where we spend a majority of our time.
At times ministry can be exciting and inspiring. At times it can be weary. Hope Grafted In is a blessing, a God-thing, and I am more passionate about it now then when God began this work over a year ago. But a ministry that has the ominous task of continuous fundraising and asking of others makes me grow weary at times.
In this type of ministry, additions bring both celebration and sadness. We love to sit back and watch as God rescues His little ones from the darkness, despair, and rejection their lives once knew. He scoops them up into His arms and places them into a loving, God-fearing, protective new family and begins to restore their weary bodies and souls.
New is really good in ministry. It not only brings fresh perspective to our humanness, but for Hope Grafted In, new is a direct reflection of our desire to always be moving within the will of God. We are ecstatic to announce the new addition of a part-time staff member beginning June 1st. Amber will now be working for Hope Grafted In…or maybe we should say receive monetary compensation on this earth for her work for Christ…because she has been working pretty hard all along!

By Shiloh Wolff (Lawton, Oklahoma) Have you ever been at the right place at the right time? I had the privilege of experiencing many special moments like this in Africa on a VO trip in October 2011. This trip would change my life forever. I would find JOY in a new and refreshing way that would inspire a recurring theme in my life.
I have a crazy wonderful family. My husband and I are blessed to parent 5 great kids. They are each so vastly different and yet we have one main priority as their parents that is steadfast: We want them to come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and to follow Him with their lives.
We are going to Uganda! We would love to have you join us in visiting Ebenezer and Sangaalo. We have space for 4 more of you. So who is going to join us? THE TRIP DEADLINE IS JUNE 15th. You need to have emailed us to say you want in and paid your $275 deposit by this date, but you can submit your application after if you need more time for that.
