Servant Leadership is a phrase that may be used inaccurately in Western culture today. It is often used to describe individuals that aren’t worthy of the title of Servant Leader like Jesus. But today I want to share a story with you about my friend, George.
When ministries we partner with take BIG steps of faith, we get so excited! Partly because watching God move in our friends is super fun, and partly because getting the chance to be in on God-things and partner with these friends in Christ is a COMPLETE honor. YOU can be a part of feeling that pride and honor too!
We are a short 6 weeks away from our first trip as a ministry! It is a very exciting time of finalizing details and preparing our team. We will be serving at 4 ministries when we go. Our two partners, Sangaalo Babies and Ebenezer Chidren’s Ministry will be where we spend a majority of our time.
One of our ministry partners in Uganda, Ebenezer, has some immediate needs. We will be raising funds for these and sending them to to the Director, George, on April 26th. If you’d like to be a part of this project, you may give a one time donation here and designate it for Ebenezer. We are believing that God will provide $2000 for these needs.
On 3/15 we received this message from George, the director at Ebenezer: "The Heavy Rains At Kibuku Yesterday Left One Of Our Structure We Use As Classrooms For Ebenezer Children’s Ministry And As For Sunday Services Down On The Ground. Join Us In Prayer As We Try To Put Up A New Structure Next Week. Pictures For These Have Failed To Attach But Still Trying To Send Them."
