What were your initial reactions after watching The Drop Box?

After watching such a heart-wrenching film, viewers had many things to say and emotions to express. This isn’t one of those movies that you can simply say, “I liked the ending” or “it had a good story line.” It’s much more riveting than that. Some say they had the urge to buy a plane ticket and fly to South Korea to help him. Others mentioned that Pastor Lee, the founder of The Drop Box is a perfect example of someone doing great things through surrendered people.

Brian Ivie, the Director of the film quotes “Through this movie, I’m hoping people see a type of love that is messier and grittier than the weak-at-the knees love of Hollywood movies.” By people’s reactions to this film, it’s easy to believe that viewers saw the type of love that God shows us; merciful, abounding, and unending love. He strives for us to love in the same manner, and if The Drop Box film does nothing else other than to make you realize that and thank our Heavenly Father for his unending love, then I think you get the point.
