Sangaalo February Update

From time to time, we are made aware of individuals sending messages to contacts and friends of Hope Grafted In, claiming to have information about ministries. They may seek funds directly, or claim to have information or represent ministries. These communications are not authorized and should be brought to our attention immediately. Friends,

Love and greetings from Sangaalo Babies Home. Hope you are doing well over there. Here, we are doing well, despite the fact that we have had some challenges with the babies sicknesses. We are thankful to God for the Doctor who tries as much as he can to see that the babies who are sick are treated. Otherwise, the babies are growing so fast. A number of little babies are learning how to crawl, and very excited.

Older children enjoy outdoor games such as swings, slides etc, unfortunately their slide got broken down. Little ones enjoy indoor games, although they also swing with the support of their caretakers.

It is a new year and can’t wait to see what God is going to do in this year.

The month of January has been characterized by scarcity of food and high prices because itvhas not rained from December 2016. However, we think that Rains are coming backvand praying that in the near future, there will be abundancy of foods on the market.

We have not really done a lot as far as any other projects are concerned, but the key activity, which is to take care of the babies, is continuously done with love. However, when God provides more funding, we will carry out the projects which are waiting.

Urgency

A very demanding and yet un-budgeted need is for the the servicing of the van. It disturbed a lot by breaking down so often so there is need for a thorough servicing including replacement of worn out parts. Secondly, it is mandatory now that all Ugandan registered vehicles must undergo verification, which is a thorough test to determine whether a vehicle fits to move on the Ugandan road. Therefore it is advisable that before we take our van for this Government exercise, we must work on it, just as other motorists do. The van requires about 6 million Uganda Shillings to get back to the road and be ready for inspection/verification. ($1750)

We keep praying for the provision and we believe that God will provide.

Thank you once again for your continuous support and blessings

Damalie
