Haven Update October 2025

For 15 years, Haven Family Palace Centre in Nakuru County has been a home of hope for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children. Today, we care for 42 children who depend on us for safety, education, and love. But our current rented home is under imminent threat of eviction, putting their future at risk.

Land Secured – A Milestone Achieved

We are grateful to report that Haven Family Palace has secured a piece of land where we plan to build a permanent, child-centered home. This marks a major step toward long-term stability for our children. However, the new site remains unsecured and vulnerable without a perimeter wall and gate, exposing it to theft and trespassing.

Next Step: Safety and Construction

The project has two urgent components:

Building a secure perimeter wall and steel gate – 360 meters of reinforced masonry to protect the land and all future developments.

Constructing a modern permanent home – a fully equipped residence for up to 50 children, complete with dormitories, classrooms, a kitchen, and recreation spaces.

The total project cost is KES 17,205,626 (approx. USD 135,000 / EUR 115,000). Implementation will take eight months, managed by certified engineers and overseen by our Board.
