Ebenezer Monthly Update

Greetings and love to you from Ebenezer children’s’ Ministry. On behalf of Ebenezer children’s ministry, I want to thank you for the inspiration you have toward serving with us at Ebenezer. It has been through your handful support that we are able to change the lives of the vulnerable children and reach so many unreached souls in the remote areas of Uganda in this month of September.

HEALTH OF THE CHILDREN

We thank God for keeping our children alive and healthy in the month of September, we registered one serious case of our girl Iren who got involved in an accident but thanks be to God that when we were admitted in Mbale hospital she recovered. Beside were are so great full for Shakur who was hospitalized in Mild May Hospital in Kampala and to Nalufenya hospital in Jinja but at the moment he has great improvement. We thank the sponsors who have stood with us financially for the hospital bills and in prayer, may God bless them.

EDUCATION

We are grateful for the sponsorship of ourchildren that their fees and requirement are provided in time. Except we had a challenge of tuition for the three children whom we send to Boarding school, Joy, Gilda, Leslie, however I take the honor to appreciate friends that stood with us and met this Need. Thank you.

Our term three (which is our last term in the year) has successful started and all children that got holidays have reported to school. We praise God for the knowledge and wisdom for our children for majority have performed excellent in their end of term exams and achieved.

FEEDING

Our children have undergone very good feeding of balanced diet of addition of eggplants, groundnuts past, greens and plenty of fruits; watermelon, pineapples, ripe bananas, like in the meal intervals and the porridge feeding of children 8 years and below at 4 pm every day. This supplemental fund is $300 monthly.

This has boosted children`s health and we thank God who has provided through our sponsors may God bless them abundantly.

In the past few months however we did not receive any donations for this program and the children have been asking for the fruits. We trust God for the provision of someone to sponsor this program.

FARMING

We thank God for poultry farming that is on going well, this month we were able to add 50 birds raising the number of birds to above 200, that are growing well and we pray the project succeeds. We were able to sell 45 birds to raise additional Nutritional supplements like fruits, soy porridge and eggs since we did not have the supplementary funds raised this month.

Achievements

• The final plans for our family homes have been completed and we are working on estimates from contractors and hope to share that project soon.
• The temporal church structure is ongoing.
• Our school has opened for the last term of this year.
• Shakur’s health has been restored.
• The land has been officially surveyed so we can claim it now as ours.

Update on Pastor and his family

I have been healthy and well throughout the month of September.I have been able to spend the whole month with my family. My Girl Leslie got holidays I enjoyed time with her giving her assignments and letting her pray for our meals during Lunch and Dinner. Sept. being the month that I celebrate my birthday, we had a lot of Fun. However my wife got dislocation on her lower back and this has discomforted her
for about two weeks now.

I want to appreciate all friends that have been praying for us and stood with us in any way this month. We are grateful.

Current Financial Needs

• We hope the construction of the temporal church will contribute to increased space as a result of increased number of believers who have massively responded due to greater commissions undertaken. This will be coupled with the initiatives of church programs like youth children women which will enhance on the behaviors change, increased motivation to prayers among others. We have begun the structure with gifts to date of $1000 from Hope Grafted In and $300 from Man Up. The balance needed for completion of the structure is estimated to $2700. • Transport is our greatest need, as our core program is dealing with the children who may any time fall sick, and need to quickly be rushed to the hospital then vehicle is necessary, also for easy monitoring of these programs of the school, church and the children it worth noting that a vehicle is needed. Addition to the above, our shopping and Banks are as far as Mbale which about 30 to 40 minutes drive to have a transaction. A reliable vehicle will cost $5000 and we have raised $1300 so far.

• For God’s provision as our church plans to hold Pastors and Leaders conference in the month of October and an open air crusade from 21^st to 23^rd of October.
• Join us in prayer safe Journey mercies as Sylvia and I plan to travel for a marraige conference in Kenya on Oct 13-16th.
