Allen: Party of Two UPDATE

Update: This sweet mama has grafted a new daughter into her family! Hope Grafted In is honored and excited to introduce Marshay as one of our new adoption grant recipients. Her passion for adoption and love of Jesus Christ is impacting her life in BIG ways!

Marshay Allen is a single adoptive mother. She works as school counselor and spends her days helping youth and figuring out how to meet their basic needs. After these basic needs are met, her job is to help meet their emotional and psychological needs. With years of experience in the field, Marshay has found that meeting the emotional and psychological needs is a much more difficult task. She is excited to be able to do this for her child.

This caring lady is fulfilling her calling of becoming a mom by adopting a daughter. Marshay has a memory of being spoken to by God about three years ago, being told that she could “move.” For quite some time, she couldn’t figure out what this meant. When it finally clicked, she realized that God was answering past prayers of hers. Not only did she physically move into a more spacious home in order to make room for a family, but she also was being urged to move forward in her passion to adopt.

She tells HGI that “If adoption was His will for my life, He would be my child’s father and ultimately the sole provider for the both of us.” Marshay believes the most important thing she can impart to her child is developing and maintaining a relationship with Jesus Christ.

With her passion for adopting and her love for and relationship with Jesus Christ, Hope Grafted In is blessed to partner with her in her adoption. Join us in supporting this wonderful lady through her journey by praying for Marshay and her daughter.

We look forward to sharing their first family photo as God brings their family together.
