It’s No Joke Toilet Campaign
Did you know that November 19th is World Toilet Day? Did you even know there was a World Toilet Day?
What is World Toilet Day?
World Toilet Day is a day to take action. It is a day to raise awareness about all people who do not have access to a toilet - despite the human right to water and sanitation. It is a day to do something about it.
Of the world’s seven billion people, 2.5 billion people do not have improved sanitation. 1 billion people still defecate in the open. Women and girls risk rape and abuse because they have no toilet that offers privacy.
We cannot accept this situation. We must speak up. This is why the United Nations designated November 19 as World Toilet Day.
What does it mean for the children and vulnerable people Hope Grafted In serves?
So what is HGI doing and how can you help?
We are partnering with Return Ministries in Kampala, Uganda to build a toilet facility that will bring sanitation, health, and dignity to the people in their community. You have the opportunity to stand with us to bring toilets to them! They are breaking ground THIS WEEK! Updates coming soon!

Thank you!
We are in love with infographics for stats and this one is kind of funny and random so just leaving it right here. You are welcome.
