Return November Update

Pastor Samuel & Family

Hello,

Once again it’s a joy for me and my wife to know that there are people who are a support behind this whole thing that we do. And it’s the way we are encouraged. We count ourselves highly blessed, and it’s our prayer that God will meet your needs abundantly. And above all, the peace and the joy that surpasses all understanding will abide in your homes.

Election season for America.

This whole month I have been following America closely as it gears to the most sensitive moment of electing the new president. I have not missed any presidential debates despite the awkward hour of the night they have been arranged according to our time line on our end 9pm in America is 4am in Uganda. I have always been awake at that time for the debates. America is a very special Country to us, whatever happens to America affects us directly. We consider you brothers and sisters and great friends for the role you play in our lives. Here is my word of encouragement to all fellow believers and partners;

“Don’t forget that God is still in charge of America, hold your peace, follow the conviction of the spirit and do the right thing on the 8th day of November 2016.

The world trend today likens to the times of Daniel and the Babylon. When everything seemed so wicked and tragedy for Israel. God was fully in charge through Daniel, fulfilling His purpose. And
am sure there is still Daniel in America today. Whatever is bound to happen will happen, “don’t lose heart”. We are praying for America very seriously”.

Update on the Debt

We are grateful to God for his provision. Last month Return ministries brought to your attention an urgent need that requires your prayerful support and practical response as the Lord shall lead you. These are totally understandable hard times financially and indeed, it has affected us in various ways. We were experiencing a burden of a shortfall in the finance and cash flow of $5359 last month. Am glad to inform you that we received $2000 towards the debt within that same week we presented the need to you, which lessened the shortfall to $3359 .Thank you so much. With these funds ($2000) we were able to cover the debt partly for some children especially those in candidate classes and the kids in the home, remaining with $3359 to cover the rest of the fees debt and other needs we were indebted. Due to the ministry shortfall overall, our school fees had fallen behind. But we were able to put the children back in school in good faith due to the $2000 gift recently given. Yet there is still more need to pay the remaining balance. However this remaining debt does not include this end of year school term in which they are, that is almost ending. Am concerned about this cycle. And it cannot change unless we receive more sponsors sign up to support more kids or those who have supported children in candidate classes, vocation and Universities increase a bit on the support. If we use the little that comes in every month currently on the school fees for this third term, still it will not be enough to cover both other needs like rent, food, medical and salary etc for the ministry to function. Please pray with us in this area.

Sponsorship

These are 18 of the 300 children that need a sponsor. We have identified this group as the most in need. When they are sponsored we will add more profiles to the program.

Our success stories

David

He is the older boy in the Children’s home. He joined when he was a small boy. Nothing much would be thought of him, but he has turned out to be a responsible young man. Those of you who have been here in the earlier years of Return Ministry, you remember most of these kids. The ministry has had an opportunity to see him through primary school and secondary school level of education. Currently he just joined Vocational school pursuing Business administration as a course. He is now 20 years of age, according to American setup is a full Man, but here in Uganda or Africa at large, at that age he is still not able to cover basic things on his own, he still needs support. He is gifted in business and leadership skills. Currently he is managing the rabbit farm at the Children’s home, in which he has great plan of expansion when he completes his 2 years of school. We are planning his exit from the home, ushering him into adult hood. We have several of this category. They really need special attention. He has 2 years to complete school, He needs $500 per semester. He has 2 semesters in a year. Pray with us for wisdom and provision as we usher them into the world.

Candidates: Robina, Sannyu, Swabra and Mary are the four Candidates this year who are going through examinations, three will be joining Secondary school and one will be completing secondary school. We are so blessed to see them this far. Thank you to the sponsors of these kids. This is a huge blessing for them.

New staff at Return Adeline is our new staff, as we position ourselves better for better performance God brought her to us, and she is very instrumental in this area of sponsorship and child care. She is married a mother one girl, strong in the Lord. She has worked with Compassion International as a project director and in other places of the country. She is a big help at the right time.

Construction of the Toilet facility: We had a great opportunity to partner with an NGO known as COMMUNITY INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES (CIDI). Offering to build us a toilet facility in response to government directives to vacate the premise if it has no toilets onsite. This offer is a loan agreement of $9300 that is interest free, to be repaid in a period of 2 years. Am so glad to inform you that more than half of the loan is already covered by $4300. God is good, pray with us for more funds to cover the remaining. SEE MORE INFO ON WORLD TOILET DAY CAMPAIGN THROUGH HGI FOR RETURN!

Outreach: Return ministry had an opportunity to participate in a country wide campaign against HIV AIDS. We were blessed to be on the frontline in this cause. we are grateful to God for the things he has done so far. We stand amazed. And we believe for more this coming New Year.

May the lord have you partner with us, either as a child sponsor, building project, Church outreach programs and family empowerment for single mothers .

Be blessed.

Ps. Samuel Bubonero.
