Haven March Update

Dear Family and Friends,I salute you all and I pray you are well in the peace of our lord Jesus Christ. My wife, Sean and I are also doing well and our entire haven Family.

In the beginning of February we added a new auntie/staff to help since we are still under –staffed. Her name is Esther, she spent her teenage life in a children’s home since her parents could not cater for her needs.

In the last ten weeks our teenage children including our newest staff Esther went through a class of “True Love Waits” to be equipped with knowledge and be trained on Love as a believer and other contemporary issues facing our boys and girls today. They enjoyed their classes and gained new knowledge and now it is up to them to practice that which they learnt. Our pastor/apostle and his wife led the training and more than forty young people graduated.

In the last two weeks or so thieves came to our home and tried to steal a few things from haven, this was after they successfully stole from our neighbors house but we thank God they did not steal anything. Our neighbor saw them and shouted, they dropped what they had and run this was at around 9&10 in the night. The children were a bit shaken up but they are all fine now.

This coming month will be a very important one as Hope Grafted In has organized a race to raise Funds. We urge all our sponsors (friends and family) to join this noble race and create awareness of the gap that exist among us as we (me& you) come together in love and be the instrument of hope. We ask that you keep this event in your prayers and give towards the event with a cheerful heart and Our God who sees in the secret will reward you in the open.
