Ebenezer November Update

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ebenezer children, Teens, teachers and caregivers are full of joy and particularly impressed at your continuous support both financially and in prayer, May the Almighty God bless you

Background

Ebenezer is a nonprofit making organization with faith based foundation which was established as a result of the existing vulnerability of orphans and vulnerable children with the mission of giving
care and protection to orphans and disadvantaged children by identifying, nurturing and parenting the HIV infected and affected child. It envisions creating a Just and fair Society where an HIV infected and affected Ugandan child will be safe, healthy in a loving home and have their aspirations fulfilled

Education

We are grateful for the children sponsored both at Ebenezer home and at school; the tuition contributed is of great value to them that they are stable in class. Our primary seven students have been prepared for the National exams (primary leaving exams) which are due in November 4th to 5th.

This weakened we are blessed to farewell party (celebration which marks there time with us)

We pray God gives them knowledge, wisdom and understanding so that they all excel, thank you for supporting our primary seven class to the end.

Farming

Farming is an activity that supplements on our nutrition and food expenditure. We thank God our farming products from poultry is ready which is supplementing on children’s meals taken for balanced diet. Thus boosted the children’s health.

Ebenezer Christian Center Conference and Crusade

The church leaders and pastors conference was indeed God ordained as it ignited a fire in their hearts to do more for the Gospel. The believers left the conference with a clear understanding of the value God has placed on them and the vital role He has given to them in ministry. Similarly the crusade impacted greatly on the lives of believers as it left many souls converted to Christ and many delivered

Directors Update

It is a joy to serve the Lord and I and my wife take the opportunity to thank all people who have stood with us in all areas during the month of October. Throughout the month we have been all healthy and our house full of visitors who came for the conference and Crusade. However On 2nd of October was a bad day to us personally after the press realized false information about Ebenezer children Ministry attacking the work we do with false information. But thanks be to God who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, he who started the good work has been faithful to Handle this attack as well.

Current Needs

  • Christmas party, As a faith based organization we give it a special time to honor and remember the Birth of our Lord Jesus. This celebration has always been possible because of your partnership, (work done by sponsors and friends) we hope this annually celebration will bring to about 350 children, which will create a big impact in Kibuku community to do this we need every one’s support. For sponsors, partners and friends it is a wonderful opportunity to impact the lives of these children with the gospel through Christmas party giving. To have this achieved, we need $1200. To have special foods, drinks, entertainments, rent tents and chairs.
  • We hope the construction of the temporal church will contribute to increased space as a result of increased number of believers who have massively responded due to greater commissions undertaken. This will be coupled with the initiatives of church programs like youth children women which will enhance on the behaviors change, increased motivation to prayers among others. We have begun the structure with gifts to date of $1000 from Hope Grafted In and $300 from Man Up. The balance needed for completion of the structure is estimated to $2700.
  • Transport is our greatest need, as our core program is dealing with the children who may any time fall sick, and need to quickly be rushed to the hospital then vehicle is necessary, also for easy monitoring of these programs of the school, church and the children it worth noting that a vehicle is needed. Addition to the above, our shopping and Banks are as far as Mbale which about 30 to 40 minutes drive to have a transaction. A reliable vehicle will cost $5000 and we have raised $1300 so far.
