Bringing play to Ebenezer

Ebenezer Nursery and Primary School in Kibuku, Uganda, provides accessible, quality education to 313 students, from Baby Class to Primary 7. These hard-working students attend school Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm from January to December throughout the year. Additionally, Primary 6 and 7 students attend school on Saturdays and in the evenings. Within this environment, and under the guidance of 13 devoted staff members, academic, social and spiritual growth has flourished.

One necessary component of child development is lacking, however. That important piece is PLAY. Play is an important aspect of brain development, promoting creativity, imagination, and social interaction.

So….this calls for a playground!! An approximate cost for this project is $1,700, with the vision of adding a merry-go-round, slides, and goal posts for soccer, along with the purchase of needed concrete and transportation of the materials to the school grounds.

Will you join us in bringing the opportunity for imaginative, physical, FUN, play opportunities to the students at Ebenezer? Donate online below by giving to “Ebenezer Current Needs” project fund.
