Haven November Update

Dear friends and family,

It is another new month that we get to enjoy by faith and in hope to reach and realize our goals. In all our ways we acknowledge what God has done and continue to do in our lives. We move forward in faith that each and every day God has made He remains fully seated on the throne and as the lord of our precious lives. Greetings to you all, I believe you are all well and in peace.

First I want to appreciate all of you for standing with us and for all your prayers and donations that have kept Haven on its feet. Together we have ensured that the children remain in school, are well fed, clothed and living in conducive environment and a habitable shelter. May The Almighty God increasingly reward you and expand your territory and above all continue to shower all of you with His unconditional love. May Gods countenance shine upon you and may you find favor with God and man in all your endeavors.

Praises

• We also thank you for donating funds for the purchase of children clothes. We managed to buy trousers for both girls and boys and dresses with the gifts received. We still need to buy t-shirts and tops and also sweaters/jumpers for both girls and boys this will cost around 30,000 shillings ($300).
• The rest of the children have performed very well in school, we thank God for their performance. This term we did not have a lot of issues with their health, they were all in good health and we pray it continues to be even better as we move on. A few of them have challenges in school but we hope they will improve as they continue to study. They are home for the holidays which means we get to spend time with them…Awesome! This time the holiday is longer than before since the children will be with us for two months. This means the food budget will double because lunch will be served at home.

• The green house is also doing very well and we will be harvesting tomatoes in the next two weeks. We are praying that we get people who will buy from the land directly and also sell the tomatoes ourselves in our milk shop as we also get tomatoes for Haven. We have spoken to a number of people about the tomatoes and they seem very interested. We pray when the time comes they will materialize their interests.
• My wife and I are doing very well. Last month we got an opportunity to attend a marriage conference known as Art of Marriage. We got to learn a lot about marriage from people who have been in the marriage life for years. We also had an opportunity to just have time for ourselves and recap on all we have been through since we said I do one year ago. It was an amazing time for both of us!

Prayer Requests

• Our three oldest girls (Frenzer, Hannah, and Mary) will start their exams on 2^nd of November please do not cease to pray for them during this time. I believe they will perform well and we will be waiting for them at home when they finish.
• Next school year in January will demand a lot from all of us. The children have used their school uniform five days a week for the last one year this calls for new school uniform which is a onetime donation every beginning of the year. I wanted to let you know about this early so that we can start praying for this need and have it met before they go back to school next year. This uniform includes shoes, shirts/blouses, sweaters, shorts/dresses, socks and t-shirts. The cost of all this will be communicated in our next update.
• Our three girls will be joining high school which is a bit more expensive than primary school. An estimated fees will be about 150,000 shillings ($1500) per child per year this will be confirmed when we know the high school they will be joining. Please put this needs on your list of prayers and invite your friends and family to join us take these girls through high school.

Current Needs

• In the month of December we plan to have another birthday party to celebrate the children born in the months August to December. The budget will be about 30,000 shillings ($300) for food and other things that accompanies a birthday party.
• Increased food budget in November and December ($250 each month)
• Completed Clothing Shopping ($300)
