Haven Monthly Update

A message from Joseph…

I salute you all in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. It is with much Joy that I write to you concerning Haven Family progress and our endeavors to ensure continuity and success of our ministry. I hope and pray that all is well with you and your family in good health, perfect peace and prosperity. Receive many greetings from our children and the staff as well.

The Children

The children are back in school and continuing very well. Their performance in the last term was good and we are praying they continue improving in their studies. I also take this opportunity on behalf of Grace and her family to say thank you to everyone who spend time in prayer during those difficult moments. Again thank you and May the almighty God bless you and your family.

I would like to remind you of our three girls (Hannah, Frenzer, and Mary) who will be sitting for their exams in three weeks time. We kindly ask that you spend time praying for their success in their final primary school exam (KCPE) as they look forward to joining high school. If you can get time to prepare a video to wish them success in their exams, I believe it will encourage them and give them courage so as not to panic during their exam sessions. They are our first children to sit for this exam and we are praying they will set a higher pace for the others to follow. Email your videos of encouragement here!

Greenhouse Project

The tomatoes in the green house are doing very well and have grown so fast some of them have started to produce flowers….we are expecting the fruits very soon. We also believe that the project will be a success to the end so that we know if we can adopt the project as a sustainability project in the long run for the Home. Some tomatoes were affected by a disease but we were able to prevent and treat some which were affected.

Prayer Request

Our Apostle Sammy Ngaho’s mother passed on… (My wife’s grandmother) she was 86 years old. She suffered from diabetic for some time and went to be with the lord on 17^th of September. Keep the family in your prayers for God to comfort them and give them Peace.

Current Needs

First and foremost…thank you for praying and supporting us we appreciate you a lot. I will start by listing the needs that are still pending that is, children clothes, bed sheets and blankets. These needs remain a priority to us and we kindly ask you to continue believing with us until they are settled. Total Need: $1400

Another need that we have is the monthly budget. Currently we are half way our monthly budget and I am praying we can get more people to give towards this to ensure that haven offers the best of services to the children.

Child Sponsorship

As our children grow, their financial needs grow as well. We will be raising our sponsorship costs in January 2017 to $75 monthly. We still have one child who needs a sponsor. Thank you!

Finally to all those who gave either their time in prayers, talking to friends about us and resources, I pray The Almighty God who sees everything and who knows your needs to meet all of them according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May you find favor with God and Man in all your endeavors and also grant you Peace now and forever.
